Local Groups

High Ham Book Group

We meet about every 6 weeks to discuss a book chosen by one of the group. We meet informally at someone's house where drinks are served and discussion begins. The host chooses the next book - mainly fiction covering a wide range of genres, and occasionally non-fiction and poetry. We always find time to talk about current news, both UK/local and international - but it's been difficult to avoid mention of Brexit and Trump in the last year!

Update:  March - June gatherings were 'virtual' - courtesy of Zoom - a great use of technology to keep us together, and our spirits raised. Now that the weather is colder, we plan to meet in person, as long as Social Distancing is possible, and everyone feels COVID-safe.

Please email Anne Bond if you are interested in joining the group
