The stave head is from one of the two High Ham Friendly Societies for men, possibly the King's Head club. Each club had its own Club Day parade. The only known High Ham stave head surviving may be this one held at the Museum of Rural Life, Reading

The Annual Challenge Cup for ' A well-kept garden in High Ham', presented by Sir Ernest Jardine of Nottingham in 1922. The whereabouts of this cup is unknown.
