High Ham Playing Field Wassail 2026:
On Saturday 31st January there will be an Ancient Wassail Ceremony taking place at 4pm.
Bring along pots & pans, wooden spoons and a torch, don’t forget a coloured hat too!
This is a FREE community event, fun for all to ensure a good harvest ahead.
There will also be Mulled cider, apple juice, soup and apple cake on offer, raising funds for the HH Playing Field.
In the coming weeks the HH Playing Field Committee will be planting in a new community orchard, near the zip wire area. The trees will consist of fruit bearers; apple, plum, pear and others. Let’s celebrate this new community orchard Wassail and make it a new High Ham tradition 🍎🍏.
